Zithromax
Zithromax (azithromycin) is a highly-efficient antibiotic that you can take if you have been diagnosed with some sexually transmitted diseases, skin infections, ear infections or respiratory infections. Tell your health care provider if you are currently using any of the following medications, as they have been reported to cause interference with Zithromax: some other antibiotics, digoxin, ergot medicine, theophylline, pimozide, HIV medicines, phenytoin, carbamazepine, calcium channel blocker, warfarin, triazolam, cyclosporine, or cholesterol-lowering medicines. To make sure your treatment is safe your doctor may need you to show up for regular health check-ups. It’s important that you carry on with your treatment even when your symptoms improve significantly. You will need to use the entire amount of this medicine prescribed by your doctor. Stopping the treatment before it’s time may lead to a relapse of infection. Although this drug is tolerated well by most patients taking it, the following mild side effects are sometimes possible: constipation, headache, dizziness, insomnia, mild nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, decreased sense of taste, skin rash, diarrhea, mild itching, ringing in your ears and some other ones.
